Just as American prime time TV experience won't be the same without Oprah or CSI, dog beds won't be complete without their bed sheets, too. Dog bed sheets serve not only as decorative elements but also as important accessories to any dog bed you have in mind. This relationship works in the same fashion as coffee and creamer or bread and butter. Normally rectangular in shape and made of cotton or linen, bed sheets are large, thin fabric sheets. Generally used to cover dog beds, bed sheets usually have a center seam. It is usually put between your pooch and its bed. The first bed sheets were white. When it comes to designs, materials, and colors, you may say that bed sheets have introduced a new trend. The larger bed sheets can be tucked under the mattress to make it look neat and stable. Just name it, and bed sheets will surely provide a complete look to every dog bed set you have in mind. The thread count serves as basis for the material's quality. Simply translated, it is the total number of threads per square inch. As the rule of thumb goes, the higher the thread count, the softer the bed sheet. Bed sheets are generally manufactured out of sateen, linen, cotton, or other synthetic materials. The commonly used patterns are dots, stripes, checkered, or printed. They can either be fitted or flat. Keep these in mind when picking which set of bed sheet to purchase: 1. Machine washable. See if you can wash the bed sheet with a machine. This is to make the task of cleaning the sheets easy. Hand washing is not a bad idea. But, why punish yourself when you can do it the more convenient way? 2. It should be versatile and attractive. There are a whole world of bed sheet option nowadays. Thus, don't forget to pick those with nice prints. They should be colorful at best. Moreover, you should opt for those that complements the kind of dog that you have. If your dog is energetic and playful, pick the sheets with bright floral prints. If your canine friend is an adventurous animal, pick the ones with bold, red prints on them. Though your dog will never really appreciate it, others probably will. 3. It should be tough but cheap. Keep in mind that you should not pick those that are highly priced. A set can cost you as little as $19. However, this doesn't mean that you have to compromise the quality of the fabric used. It would be better if you will go for middle-priced ones that are made of highly durable materials. Through this, you can save money and provide your dog a nice-looking bed sheet.
